Reema Maayaa, Psych. Asst.
Ms. Maayaa is a registered Psychological Associate currently completing her Psy.D. in Clinical Forensic Psychology. She is dedicated to working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, Substance Use, Schizophrenia, and Bipolar Disorder. Ms. Maayaa deeply values a client-centered approach, integrating humanistic therapy with cognitive behavioral techniques to tailor her methods to the unique needs of each individual.
Recognizing that people often don’t fit neatly into theoretical molds, Ms. Maayaa works hard to meet her clients where they are, creating a personalized path to healing and growth. She has experience working with children who have autism, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral challenges, as well as populations facing homelessness, incarcerated individuals, and transitional youth and young adults.
In addition to her work with individuals, Ms. Maayaa is passionate about supporting families as they navigate relational and emotional dynamics, drawing on her diverse training and therapeutic approaches to help clients find balance and insight in their lives.
