Montserrat Torres, AMFT

Ms. Torres ("Montse") is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles. She is passionate about supporting individuals, children, and families through a compassionate and culturally attuned therapeutic approach that fosters healing, authenticity, and growth.

During her graduate training, Ms. Torres provided therapy to children and adolescents through Counseling Partners of Los Angeles (CPLA). There, she supported clients ages 5-14 using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her work included safety assessments, grief and loss support, and addressing stress related to cultural transitions.

A graduate of the Enlaces Bilingual Marriage and Family Therapy program, Ms. Torres is fluent in English and Spanish, and offers bilingual services to better serve diverse communities. She believes that genuine healing begins with understanding each client's cultural background, lived experience, and values.

Ms. Torres' therapeutic style integrates evidence-based practices with warmth, curiosity, and deep empathy. She strives to create safe, empowering spaces where clients feel seen, supported, and capable of meaningful change.
